Grey Bruce Public Health runs a Sexual Health Program that provides free, confidential services at Sexual Health Clinics in Grey-Bruce.

While Public Health encourages people to seek sexual health-related services through their healthcare provider, Grey Bruce Public Health clinics are an option for clients who do not have a family physician or face barriers in accessing timely services from a primary care provider.

For free, anonymous counselling seven days a week, call the Sexual Health Infoline Ontario at 1-800-668-2437. Echat services are also available.

 

SEXUAL HEALTH SERVICES

Sexual Health is an important part of overall health.

Grey Bruce Public Health provides free, confidential sexual health services for everyone, including those without a health card. Services offered include:

  • Testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections
  • Pregnancy testing and counselling
  • Access to low-cost contraceptives and Emergency Contraceptives
  • Safe sex education and access to free safe sex supplies

Note: All of the services offered can be provided by your family doctor or nurse practitioner. We encourage you to consult with them in order to obtain the comprehensive care that is best for your overall health.

Worried about costs?  You may be covered by OHIP+.  OHIP+ provides more than 5, 000 drug products at no cost for anyone age 24 years or younger who is not covered by a private plan.  You don’t need to enroll – all you need is a health care number and an eligible prescription.
