The Grey-Bruce Board of Health is pleased to announce the ratification of a new two-year collective agreement between Grey Bruce Public Health and Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU) Local 276-Pro-Tech, which currently represents 63 GBPH employees.

The union members ratified the tentative collective agreement on Feb. 3, 2023. The Board of Health ratified the agreement at its most recent meeting on Jan. 31, 2023.

OPSEU Local 276-Pro-Tech represents Public Health Inspectors, Dental Hygienists, Registered Practical Nurses, Dietitians, Tobacco Enforcement and Education Officers, Health Promoters, Maintenance Custodians, Parent Support Workers, and others at Grey Bruce Public Health.

The new collective agreement, which is retroactive to July 1, 2022, includes a general wage increase, signing bonus, and adjustments to contract language.
